Mother's Dumplings


  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup(s) sifted flour
  • 1 ¼ teaspoon(s) baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon(s) Salt
  • 1 teaspoon(s) melted butter
  • ½ cup(s) Milk

Mix all well and drop by tsp into boiling soup. Let simmer for 10 minutes covered. Uncover and cook 10 minutes more. Dumplings can be cooked in salted water for the same times.
