Mozzarella Appetizer


  • ½ cup(s) olive oil
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, crushed
  • ½ teaspoon(s) red pepper flakes
  • 1 ½ pound(s) fresh mozzarella
  • 1 tablespoon(s) fresh basil, chopped

Pour olive oil, garlic and red pepper flakes in a jar with a lid and leave overnight on counter. Do NOT refrigerate. Cut mozzarella into bite sized chunks. Put in a serving bowl. Remove crushed garlic cloves from oil. Pour oil over mozzarella, toss and add chopped basil.
