Ingredients

  • 1/3 pound button mushrooms, cleaned, trimmed, and finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh thyme or 1 tsp. dried
  • ½ tablespoon butter
  • ½ pound chilled puff pastry
  • ½ tablespoon soy sauce
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • 1 tablespoon minced shallot (about 1 small)
    • 1 teaspoon minced garlic (1 or 2 cloves)
    • 1 tablespoon Madeira
    • ¼ cup heavy cream

1. Melt butter with olive oil in a medium frying pan over medium-high heat. Add shallot and garlic and cook 30 seconds, stirring.
