  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 adjustable-blade slicer
  • crusty bread (preferably a baguette)
  • 2 tablespoons flat-leaf parsley
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 15- to 16-ounce package frozen french fries
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • + 5 more ingredients
    • 2 pounds cultivated mussels
    • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
    • 2 teaspoons water
    • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
    • 1 small onion

Cook french fries according to package instructions and keep warm in oven if necessary.
