New-Style Ambrosia

Ingredients

  • 2 blood oranges, sectioned
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Garnish: toasted coconut
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup dried tart cherries
  • + 8 more ingredients
    • ½ cup dried cranberries
    • 2 clementines, sectioned
    • ¼ cup sugar
    • 2 navel oranges, sectioned
    • 1 star anise (optional)
    • ¼ cup orange zest
    • 1/3 cup fresh orange juice
    • 3 whole cloves

1. Combine first 9 ingredients and, if desired, star anise in a saucepan. 2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 8 minutes or until sugar dissolves.
