No Icing Chocolate Chip Cake

Ingredients

• 1 cup(s) dates
• 1 cup(s) + 3 tablespoon hot water (pour over dates and let stand)
• 1 cup(s) Sugar
• 2 stick(s) butter
• 2 cup(s) flour
• 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
• ½ teaspoon(s) Salt
• + 2 more ingredients
• • 1 cup(s) chocolate chips
  • ½ cup(s) Pecans

Put 1/2 the chocolate chips in batter and the other 1/2 chocolate chips and pecans on top before baking. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
