Ingredients

  • 1 cup Japanese breadcrumbs (panko)
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • ½ cup (2 oz.) shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 (10-oz.) blocks sharp white Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 (16-oz.) package penne pasta
  • + 8 more ingredients
    • 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded smoked Gouda
    • 1 (4-oz.) package thinly sliced prosciutto
    • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
    • ½ cup butter
    • ¼ cup dry white wine
    • 1 shallot, minced
    • ¼ teaspoon ground red pepper
    • ½ teaspoon salt

1. Preheat oven to 400°. Bake breadcrumbs in a single layer on a baking sheet 5 to 7 minutes or until golden, stirring once after 2 1/2 minutes. 2.
