Ingredients

• 2 cup(s) boiling water
• ½ cup(s) brown sugar
• 1 cup(s) quick oats
• 2 teaspoon(s) salt
• 2 cup(s) whole wheat flour
• ½ cup(s) wheat bran (optional)
• 3 cup(s) white flour

Combine sugar, oil, oats, salt and boiling water. When cool, add yeast that has been softened in lukewarm water. Add flours and bran and mix to a moderately stiff dough.
