OKRA GUMBO CASSEROLE

Ingredients

  • ½ cup(s) chopped onion
  • ½ cup(s) chopped bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoon(s) butter or margarine
  • ½ cup(s) rice (not instant)
  • 2 cup(s) water
  • 3 cup(s) sliced okra
  • 2 cup(s) mashed tomatoes
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • 1 tablespoon(s) chili powder

Sauté onion and bell pepper in butter. Add rice into skillet and brown. Pour water into skillet. Cook till rice puffs up. Meanwhile, boil okra for about 10 minutes.
