Old Fashioned Crackling Bread


  • ¾ cup(s) hot water
  • ½ cup(s) flour (self-rising)
  • ½ cup(s) fine plain corn meal
  • 1 teaspoon(s) baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon(s) Salt
  • 1 cup(s) finely chopped cracklings

Mix all ingredients. For crispy bread, use one meal and omit flour. Pour into baking pan sprayed with Pam. Bake in 400° preheated oven for 45 min. or until done.
