  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • ¼ cup (1/8 lb.) butter
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar

    • ½ teaspoon grated lemon peel
    • Lightly sweetened whipped cream (optional)
