Oliebollen - Dutch Doughnuts

Ingredients

  • Oil for deep frying
  • 1 Tart cooking apple
  • 1 ½ cCurrants and raisins; Washed
  • 2/3 ozFresh yeast; (1 cake)
  • 1 cmilk
  • 2 ¼ cFlour
  • 1 Egg
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • 2 tsSalt

First blend the yeast with a little lukewarm milk. Sift the flour and salt. Add milk, mix to batter with yeast and egg. Add currants, raisins and peeled minced apple.
