Ooey Gooey Caramel Cake

Ingredients

  • Cake
  • 1 ½ c boiling water
  • ¾ c unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 ½ c granulated sugar
  • 6 T butter, softened
  • 1 t vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • + 12 more ingredients
    • 1 2/3 c all-purpose flour
    • 1 t baking soda
    • ¾ t baking powder
    • ¼ t salt
    • Frosting and Topping
    • 2 T butter, softened
    • ¼ c packed dark brown sugar
    • 3 T milk, divided
    • 2 t vanilla extract
    • 2 c confectioners' sugar
    • 1 c caramel apple dip
    • ¼ c finely chopped pecans, toasted
