Orange and Olive Salad (S'lata Botukan wa Zaytoon)

  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
  • ½ cup green olives, pitted and halved (such as picholine or cerignola)
  • Dash of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon orange-flower water
  • 2 ½ tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 4 oranges, peeled
    • 1 ½ tablespoons olive oil

1. Cut each orange crosswise into 5 slices. Place orange slices in a bowl; toss with olives and cilantro. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. 2. Combine juice, oil, orange-flower water, and sugar; stir with a whisk. Pour over salad; toss gently to combine.
