  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons orange blossom honey
  • ½ teaspoon finely grated orange zest
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • ½ teaspoon baking powder
    • 2 large eggs
    • One 16-cookie madeleine pan with 3x2" molds

Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into a medium bowl. Using an electric mixer, beat eggs and sugar in a large bowl until pale yellow and thick, about 4 minutes.
