Ingredients

  • 4 ¼ cups water
  • Orange Vinaigrette
  • Garnishes: orange wedges, fresh parsley sprig
  • 6 green onions, chopped
  • ½ cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • ¼ cup minced fresh parsley
  • 2/3 cup uncooked wild rice*
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
    • ½ teaspoon pepper
    • 1 1/3 cups uncooked brown rice*
    • ½ teaspoon salt

Bring 4 1/4 cups water to a boil in a saucepan; add wild rice. Reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes. Stir in brown rice; cover and simmer 30 minutes or until water is absorbed.
