Ingredients

  • ½ cup(s) carrots
  • ½ cup(s) chopped celery
  • 1 can(s) stewed tomatoes (16 ounce)
  • 3 tablespoon(s) Crisco
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Salt
  • ¼ cup(s) flour
  • ¼ cup(s) shredded American Cheese

    • ½ teaspoon(s) Worcestershire sauce
    • 2 tablespoon(s) chopped onion
    • 1 ½ pound(s) round steak

Cut meat into serving portions. Combine flour and salt. Pound into meat, reserving flour for sauce. Brown meat in hot Crisco. Transfer meat to shallow baking dish.
