Oxtail Stew with Beans
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup(s) dry white beans (Navy, Great Northern, Cannellini, etc) OR 2 cans (approx. 16 oz) beans
- 2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
- 2 stalk(s) celery
- 2 cup(s) red wine
- 1 cup(s) water
- 1 bay leaf
- salt and pepper

- 4 clove(s) garlic (use more if preferred)
- 1 teaspoon(s) dried sage, crumbled (optional)
- 2 pound(s) ox tail, cut at the joints
- 2 carrots
