Ingredients

  • 3 cups bread flour, divided
  • 1 cup warm water (100° to 110°)
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • Cooking spray
  • 1 large egg white, lightly beaten
  • 1 ¼ teaspoons salt
  • 1 package dry yeast (about 2 1/4 teaspoons)
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 2 teaspoons cornmeal, divided
    • 1 tablespoon cracked black pepper
    • ½ cup (2 ounces) grated fresh Parmesan cheese

Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water in a large bowl; let stand 5 minutes. Lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups; level with a knife.
