Parmesan-crusted Calamari Kebabs

Ingredients
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- Roasted Red Pepper and Basil Sauce
- ½ cup panko*
- 1 large egg white, lightly beaten
- 30 (6-inch) wooden skewers
- 1 pound cleaned calamari tubes (about 15 )
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
Slice tubes in half lengthwise. Thread onto skewers. Combine cheese and next 4 ingredients in a shallow dish. Brush egg white lightly over squid. Dredge squid into breadcrumb mixture.
