Pasta with Basil, Tomatoes, and Feta

  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
  • 1 ½ pounds ripe tomatoes
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup chopped or slivered fresh basil leaves
  • ¾ cup crumbled feta cheese (4 oz.)
  • 12 ounces dried penne pasta
  • Salt and pepper

1. In a 4- to 5-quart pan over high heat, bring 2 quarts water to a boil. Add pasta and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender to bite, about 10 minutes. Drain. 2.
