Peanut Brittle 104


  • 2 cup(s) raw peanuts
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Salt
  • 1 cup(s) white Karo syrup
  • 1 cup(s) boiling water
  • 2 cup(s) granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoon(s) baking soda (heaping)

Put sugar, peanuts, salt, Karo syrup and water in a large pan. Cook until peanuts begin to pop. Remove from heat and add salt and baking soda. Mix and spread onto a flat, buttered cookie sheet. Break apart when cool enough to handle.
