Peanut Brittle 13


  • 2 cup(s) sugar
  • 2 teaspoon(s) Vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon(s) Salt
  • 2 teaspoon(s) Baking Soda
  • 2 tablespoon(s) butter or margarine
  • 2 cup(s) raw peanuts
  • ½ cup(s) water
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • 1 cup(s) corn syrup

Boil sugar, syrup, and water in a heavy pan to 230° on a candy thermometer. Add peanuts and boil to 300°. Remove from heat. Add butter, vanilla, soda and salt. Stir until blended. Pour into a greased jelly roll pan. Chill. When hard, break into small pieces.
