Peanut Brittle 38

Ingredients

• 2 cup(s) sugar
• 1 cup(s) Light Karo Syrup
• ½ cup(s) water
• 1 cup(s) butter
• 2 cup(s) raw peanuts

Boil sugar, Karo and water until well mixed; add butter. Boil until soft crack stage. Add nuts. Cook until hard crack stage. Color brown = peanuts done. Remove from fire. Add 1 tsp baking soda and 1 tsp. vanilla; stir well. Spread on buttered cookie sheets, with buttered knife, spreading thin. Le...
