  • 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 10 oz. bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped (about 2 cups)
  • 1-½ cups firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 4 oz. (8 Tbs.) unsalted butter, cut into 4 pieces
  • 2-½ cups smooth peanut butter, at room temperature
  • 2 large eggs
