Pear-Cranberry Mincemeat Lattice Pie

Ingredients

  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • Pastry dough
  • ¼ cup brandy
  • 2 firm-ripe Anjou pears
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon zest
  • ½ cup dried currants
  • ½ teaspoon ground allspice
  • + 8 more ingredients
    • 1/8 teaspoon salt
    • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
    • ½ cup dried sour cherries
    • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
    • ¾ cup walnuts
    • ½ cup light brown sugar
    • ¼ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
    • 2 teaspoons fresh orange zest

Stir together all ingredients except pastry dough and chill in an airtight container, stirring at least once a day for at least 3 days. Put oven rack in middle position.
