Pear-Cranberry Sauce

  • 1/3 cup fresh cranberries
  • ¼ teaspoon grated orange rind
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 Bartlett pears, peeled and coarsely chopped

Combine first 3 ingredients in a small saucepan. Cover and cook over medium-low heat 25 minutes or until cranberries pop, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; stir in sugar and rind. Cool to room temperature.
