Pear, Onion, and Dry Jack Cheese Strudels

  • ¾ cup grated dry Jack cheese or 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese and 1/4 cup grated sharp white cheddar cheese
  • 3 teaspoons whole grain Dijon mustard
  • 1 onion
  • 4 frozen phyllo pastry
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 Bosc pear

Melt 2 tablespoons butter in heavy medium skillet over medium heat. Add onion and sauté until brown, about 7 minutes. Add pear and sauté 3 minutes. Transfer pear mixture to medium bowl.
