Ingredients

  • 1 cup thinly sliced peeled pear (about 1 large)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup packed light brown sugar
  • ½ cup 1% low-fat milk
  • 1/3 cup low-fat sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

    • 8 pecan halves
    • ¼ teaspoon almond extract
    • 1 tablespoon butter
    • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/8 teaspoon salt
    • ¼ cup butter, softened
    • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Preheat oven to 350°. Place butter in a 9-inch round cake pan; place in oven 2 minutes or until butter melts. Remove pan from oven. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over bottom of pan.
