Pear-Walnut Cake with Honey-Orange Syrup

- 1 teaspoon finely grated orange rind
- ½ cup fresh orange juice

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ cup chopped walnuts, toasted
- 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
- 1/3 cup honey
