Pecan-Buttermilk Dressing Cakes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 ½ teaspoons to 1 Tbsp. rubbed sage
  • 1 ½ teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • ½ cup sweetened dried cranberries, chopped
    • ¼ teaspoon pepper
    • 1 cup pecan halves
    • 3 large eggs

1. Place pecans in a single layer in a shallow pan. Bake at 350° for 5 minutes or until toasted, stirring occasionally. Coarsely chop. 2.
