  • 1 cup(s) buttermilk
  • 2 cup(s) pecan halves
  • 2 cup(s) sugar
  • 1 teaspoon(s) soda
  • 2 tablespoon(s) vanilla

Mix sugar, soda and milk in heavy saucepan and cook over medium heat to soft ball stage (235 degrees). Remove from heat, add vanilla and pecans. Beat immediately until thickens. Drop on waxed paper. If it becomes too thick, add and stir in a few drops of water.
