Penne with Tomato Prosciutto Sauce
Ingredients
- Parmigiano-Reggiano(shavings or finely grated )
- 2 28-ounce cans Italian plum tomatoes in juice
- 6 ounces thinly sliced fine-quality prosciutto, such as Prosciutto di Parma)
- 1 pound penne rigate
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 large red onion
