Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons 1% low-fat milk
  • 1 ½ teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 1 package quick-rise yeast (about 2 1/4 teaspoons)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/3 cups warm 1% low-fat milk (100° to 110°)
  • ¼ cup butter, melted and cooled to room temperature
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • Cooking spray
    • 5 ¼ cups all-purpose flour, divided
    • ½ cup sugar

Lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups; level with a knife. Combine 2 cups flour, warm milk, and yeast in a large bowl.
