Perfect Pumpkin Pie

• ¾ cup golden brown sugar
• 1 15-ounce can pure pumpkin
• 1 Butter Pie Crust dough disk
• 3 large eggs
• 1 ¼ cups heavy whipping cream
• Nonstick vegetable oil spray
