Pickled Carrot Sticks 2

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon(s) mixed whole pickling spice
  • ½ cup(s) sugar
  • ¾ cup(s) water
  • ¾ cup(s) vinegar
  • 1 pound(s) carrots

Peel carrots, cut into sticks. Combine remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes. Place carrots in a dish and cover with hot liquid. Cool. Refrigerate for a few days before serving. Serves 10.
