Pimiento Cheese Squares


  • 1 (4-oz.) jar diced pimiento
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ½ cups (10 oz.) freshly shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
