Pine Nut Panecillos
Ingredients
- ½ cup plus 4 teaspoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- About ½ cup (¼ lb.) butter or margarine, at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 large egg

- 1 ¼ cups pine nuts
