Pink Grapefruit Tart with Edamame Ice Cream and Black Sesame Seeds

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 whole star anise
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 salt
  • 2 tablespoons whipping cream
  • 2 large pink grapefruits
  • Edamame Ice Cream
  • + 6 more ingredients
    • celery leaves or micro celery
    • 2 cups grapefruit rind
    • 2/3 cup sugar
    • ½ cup fresh pink grapefruit juice
    • Black sesame seeds
    • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

Cook rind in heavy medium saucepan of boiling water 1 minute; drain. Bring more water to boil in same pan; add rind, boil 1 minute, and drain. Repeat 3 more times (for total of 5 times).
