Pink Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cups sugar
  • ¾ cup maraschino cherry juice
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • 4 ½ cups cold water
  • 1 ½ cups fresh lemon juice

Combine sugar and boiling water, stirring until sugar dissolves. Stir in cold water, lemon juice, and cherry juice. Serve over ice.Note: In testing, we used a portion of the juice from a 10-ounce jar of maraschino cherries, reserving the cherries for other uses.
