Pinwheels Date filled Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup(s) butter
• 3 eggs,lightly beaten
• 1 cup(s) white sugar
• ¼ teaspoon(s) salt
• 1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
• 3 ½ cup(s) flour

Sift flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt together. Cream sugar and shortening, add eggs and beat. Add sifted ingredients, mix. Roll dough in to 1/4" thick square.
