Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cups unsalted pistachios
  • 2 teaspoons unsalted butter
  • Dash of kosher salt
  • Cooking spray
  • ½ teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
  • + 10 more ingredients
    • 2 cups sugar
    • ¾ cup light-colored corn syrup
    • ½ cup water
    • ¼ cup unsalted sunflower seed kernels
    • Cooking spray
    • 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
    • 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon saffron threads
    • ¾ cup light-colored corn syrup
    • ½ cup water
    • 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon saffron threads

Combine the first 4 ingredients, tossing to coat.Combine sugar, syrup, water, and salt in a heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
