Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
  • ½ teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 ¼ cups sugar
  • Cream Frosting (recipe follows)
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • + 7 more ingredients
    • ½ cup milk
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • Sesame Custard Sauce
    • About 1 ½ cups sifted cake flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • ¾ cup coarsely chopped roasted pistachios (salted or unsalted)
