Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ pounds plums
  • 8 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • ¾ cup sliced almonds

  • ½ cup almond paste
  • + 8 more ingredients
    • ½ cup golden brown sugar
    • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
    • ¼ cup sugar
    • 1/3 teaspoon salt
    • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
    • 2 tablespoons whipping cream
    • ½ cup sugar
    • 1 large egg yolk

Blend first four ingredients in processor until nuts are finely ground. Add butter; process until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add cream and yolk.
