Plum Torte

Ingredients

• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 24 Italian (aka prune or purple) plums
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
• 1 salt
