Poppy-Seed Angel Food Cakes with Lemon Syrup

Ingredients

• 4 3- by 1 1/2-inch stainless-steel entremet (pastry) rings
• ¹/₃ cup cake flour (not self-rising)
• 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
• ¼ teaspoon vanilla
• 1 teaspoon lemon zest
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• ½ cup superfine sugar
