Portuguese Chocolate Tarts
Ingredients
- Cocoa powder, for dusting
- 1 ½ fluid ounces (50 milliliters) milk
- ½ pound best-quality baking chocolate, broken up
- ½ stick butter, softened
- The smallest pinch salt
- 2 level tablespoons caster sugar
- 5 ½ fluid ounces (160 milliliters) double cream (heavy cream)

- 2 tablespoons caster sugar (superfine sugar)
- 1 egg yolk
- 5 ounce (150 gram) slab puff pastry
1. Dust a surface with flour and roll out your pastry to a bit bigger than an 8 1/2-by-11-inch sheet of paper.
