Ingredients

  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal (1 ½ cups)

  • + 7 more ingredients
    • 1 ¼ cups cold water, divided (1 ¾ cups)
    • 1 ½ teaspoons active dry yeast (2 ¼ teaspoons)
    • 1 ½ teaspoons active dry yeast (2 ¼ teaspoons)
    • 1 ½ cups bread flour (2 ¼ cups)
    • 2 teaspoons sugar (1 tablespoon)
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil (1 ½ tablespoons)
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil (1 ½ tablespoons)

1 Stir cornmeal into ½ (or 3/4) cup of the cold water until lumps disappear. 2 Add all ingredients to your bread machine in the order recommended by its manufacturer, and select the bread cycle.
