Portuguese Cream Tarts

Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon confectioners sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 8 large egg yolks
  • Finely grated zest of 1 small lemon (1 ¼ teaspoons)
  • 2 ½ cups heavy cream

    • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    • 1 cup granulated sugar
    • 1 tablespoon melted butter
    • 1 (17 ¼-ounce) package frozen puff pastry (2 sheets)
