Prune Cake with Buttermilk Topping

Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon(s) nutmeg
  • 1 cup(s) oil
  • 1 ½ cup(s) sugar
  • 2 cup(s) flour
  • ½ teaspoon(s) Salt
  • 1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon(s) allspice

    • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
    • 1 cup(s) cooked, chopped prunes
    • 1 cup(s) chopped nuts
    • 3 Eggs
    • 1 teaspoon(s) soda

Blend oil and sugar; add eggs and beat well. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with buttermilk. Add vanilla, prunes, and nuts. Pour into a greased and floured 9x13" pan.
